Huixin Xiu received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Beijing, and completed a Doctor’s degree in Materials Science and Metallurgy from the University of Cambridge. Huixin is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST). Before joining USST, Huixin was a Postdoc Researcher at the National Institute for Materials Science, Japan. Huixin has main research interests in advanced microscopy and micro-analysis, and III-nitride semiconductor materials and devices.
