Dr. Shoulei Xu obtained his bachelor’s, master’s and PhD degrees from Guangxi University, in 2011, 2014 and 2019, respectively. He is mainly engaged in the preparation of artificial crystals and research on their luminescence properties. He is currently a master's supervisor at the School of Physical Science and Engineering Technology, Guangxi University. He has mastered the growth methods of various high-melting-point metal oxide single crystals and successfully grown ruby sapphire crystals, YAG, LuAG, and YSZ single crystals.
Prof. Dr. Dingkang Xiong received his bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Department of Physics of Wuhan University in 1992. After graduation, he was assigned to teach in the Physics Laboratory of Shenyang Gold Institute. In 1999, he received his master’s degree in Engineering from the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2006, he received a doctorate in Material Physics and Chemistry from the Institute of Metal Research. After graduating with a doctorate, he worked at the Institute of Materials, Shanghai University, conducting research on amorphous magnetic materials. From 2007 to 2009, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology on the preparation and performance of diamond films. After returning to China, he engaged in teaching and scientific research at the School of Physical Science and Engineering Technology, Guangxi University.
