Jabulani Ncayiyana is a Senior Epidemiologist/Senior Lecturer at the Division of Public Health Medicine, School of Nursing & Public Health, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. He was an Epidemiologist/Senior Lecturer at the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health and Family Medicine, University of Cape Town, Cape Town, South Africa, from 2018 to 2020. He earned a PhD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015. His research interests include infectious diseases, child and adolescent health, spatial epidemiology, and implementation science.
Themba G. Ginindza is an Associate Professor and Epidemiologist at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. He was the Head of Operation Research at the MSF Belgium, Blantyre, Malawi, from 2009 to 2010. He earned a PhD at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2016. His research interests are cancer epidemiology and cancer prevention research (HPV-related cancers, lung cancer, multiple myelomas, pediatric cancers), rationalization of cancer screening in the era of HIV and HPV/EBV infections, mapping and modelling of CDs and NCDS with a focus on HPV/HIV/EBV co-infection-related cancer, and costs associated with cancer and cancer therapy innovation.
