Maxim Yurievich Shikhovtsev, born in 1997, is a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Hydrochemistry and Atmospheric Chemistry of the Limnological Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, where he studies issues of atmospheric air pollution resulting from anthropogenic and natural processes. He has 6 years of continuous work experience at the Limnological Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He has authored 37 articles, including as first author, of which 6 are Q1 and 5 are Q2 in the WoS databases. In 2019 and 2021, he graduated with honors from the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs of Irkutsk State University in the field of Ecology and Environmental Management.
