Zubair Akhtar received his MPH in Epidemiology in 2013 from the James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University, and is now pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology. He worked as an Associate Scientist at icddr,b (2013–2022) before joining the PhD program. His research topics include influenza, COVID-19, vaccination, clinical trials, AMR, AI in outbreak detections, cardiology, and epidemiology.
