Ritu Raj Singh is currently on the faculty of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Netaji Subhas University of Technology. He joined NSUT Delhi as an Assistant Professor in June 2021. Before joining NSUT Delhi, he was a faculty member in the Department of ECE, Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi. He received his Ph.D. and M.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) in 2019 and 2015, respectively. He received a B.Tech. from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology in 2013. He is interested in the field of Optical Networks and Silicon Photonics. His research focuses on developing and optimizing optical networks and silicon photonics-based devices. He has developed several new models and simulation tools to analyse and optimise the performance of these devices. His research interests are Grating Devices, Nanophotonics, Nonlinear Optics, Optical Sensors/Biosensors, Optical Communications, Optoelectronics, Optical Waveguides, Silicon Nanowires, and their applications. He was an Optica ambassador for 2024. He is leading the Integrated Photonics technical group of Optica as a Chair of executive committee members. He is a member of the Optical Society of India (OSI), IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), SPIE (Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers), and OPTICA (formerly OSA, The Optical Society).
Santosh Kumar received his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, Dhanbad, India, in 2014. He is currently a Professor and Advisor-R&D at Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, Vaddeswaram, India. He is a visiting Professor at Liaocheng University, Liaocheng, China. He has published more than 500 research articles in national and international SCI journals and conferences. His current research interests include optical fibre sensors, nanophotonics and biophotonics, waveguide, interferometers, and the Internet of Things. Until now, he has reviewed more than 2600 SCI articles. Dr. Kumar is a Fellow of SPIE and IETE and a Senior Member of OPTICA and IEEE. He is also an Associate Editor of Scientific Reports, IEEE Internet of Things, and Biomedical Optics Express.
