Lan Xiang received her Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1992. Presently, she is a professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, at Tsinghua University. Her research scope covers the synthesis of inorganic materials, nano-dispersion and directional growth, powder, and hydrothermal technology, and the preparation of composite materials.
