Maurizio D’Arienzo is an Associate Professor at Università della Campania “L. Vanvitelli”. After obtaining a Laurea Degree in Electronic Engineering and a phD in Computer Science, both from the University of Napoli “Federico II”, he engaged in some European projects as a member of the Computer Science Department at the University of Napoli and with the Computer Lab of the University of Cambridge (UK) and the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of Imperial College of London (UK).
His research activities pertain to the development and the experimentation of protocols and algorithms for the deployment of quality of service on computer networks. His most recent works are concerned with the design of self-aware networks, the application of game theory results for wireless networks, sensor network implementation, and green networking.
