Dr. Nicolás Zumelzu has been an academic in the Department of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Magallanes since 2019. He held the position of Assistant Professor B from 2020 to 2023 and is currently an Assistant Professor. He holds a professional title as a Teacher of Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Los Lagos (2014). He earned a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2017) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2024). His research interests include partial differential equations, integral equations, aggregation functions, fuzzy logic, and fuzzy mathematics.
