Endrit Hoxha received his BSc. from the Polytechnic University of Tirana (Albania), and his MSc. from the Special School of Public Works (Paris/France) and National School of Bridges and Roads (Paris/France) in 2010 and 2011, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Paris-East (France) in 2015. He is now an Associate Professor in the Department of the Built Environment, Aalborg University. His research interests include life-cycle assessment, sustainable architecture, and the development of low-carbon solutions.
Dr. Morteza Hosseini is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology at Aalborg University. He specializes in responsive, interactive, and kinetic façade design, focusing on visual comfort, daylight performance, and energy efficiency. He holds a Ph.D. in Smart Architectural Technology from the Eindhoven University of Technology. Dr. Hosseini excels in interdisciplinary research within the fields of energy and architecture, multipurpose façades, and daylighting, utilizing computational and parametric–integrative designs. He is proficient in parametric design and daylighting energy simulation software, enabling him to perform multi-objective optimizations and multicriteria decision making. Dr. Hosseini has authored numerous articles in top scientific journals, achieving an FWCI of 2.263 in Scopus. His publications from 2019 to 2022 received 52,294 downloads, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals 7 and 12, which aim to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all. He is an Associate Editor for “Intelligent Buildings International” and is on the Editorial Board of the “Journal of Daylighting”, reviewing for several prestigious journals.
