Dr. Mariela Blum Murphy is a professor at the Department of Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She received her medical degree from Universidad Catolica de Santiago de Guayaquil and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She is also a consultant of the MD Anderson Physicians Network and a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
