Sunhua Deng is a Professor mainly engaged in the research of in situ conversion technology of oil and gas resources such as oil shale, medium- and low-maturity shale oil, crude oil, aqua thermal cracking and catalytic cracking, and other related fields at the College of Construction Engineering, Jilin University. He holds a Ph.D. from the College of Chemistry, Jilin University. He also provides technical services for oil and gas mining units such as the Sinopec Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute, Xinjiang Oilfield Company, the National Oil Shale Mining Research and Development Center, and the Institute of Comprehensive Utilization of Mineral Resources of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences.
