Teresa Mouga is an Associate Professor at the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology (Polytechnic University of Leiria, Portugal) and a member of MARE-Polytechnic of Leiria. She earned her PhD degree in 1997 from the University of Coimbra in Biology (Botany). Her research interests include seaweed composition, ecology, growth, cultivation, and bioactivities.
