Carlo Gabriel Porto Bellini (Porto-Bellini in citations) holds a BSc degree in Computer Science and a PhD degree in Information Systems and Decision Support from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. In the 1990s, he worked as a software professional in the sectors of air transportation, insurance, banking, news media, and telecom. Currently, he is full professor of information systems at the Department of Business Administration, Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), Brazil, senior editor for IT & People, and associate editor for Journal of Global IT Management. In 2016–2017, he was a visiting researcher at the Department of Information Systems & Supply Chain Management, Bryan School of Business & Economics, University of North Carolina Greensboro, USA, where he worked as chief country investigator for Brazil at the World IT Project. He is an awarded author of conference papers and journal articles. Malu Lacet Serpa holds a dual B.Sc. degree in Business Administration from Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), Brazil, and the Lisbon University Institute, Portugal, as well as an M.Sc. degree in Management and Information Systems from UFPB. She worked at several public institutions and was an accounting manager at software and entertainment companies. Currently, she is an independent behavioral researcher and an officer at the Human Resources Management unit, Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil.
Rita de Cássia de Faria Pereira holds a Ph.D. degree in Marketing and Strategy from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Management from Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), Brazil. At UFPB, she is an associate professor of consumer behavior at the Department of Business Administration, as well as a faculty member at the Graduate School of Management and the Graduate School of Learning Organizations. She has recently served a four-year term as UFPB’s Pro-Rector for Personnel Management. She is a former visiting researcher at the Department of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality and Tourism, Bryan School of Business and Economics, University of North Carolina Greensboro, USA.
