Author Biographies

Dr. Claudia Constantinescu is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrotechnics and Measurements within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She graduated from the same university in 2009 and received a PhD in electrical engineering, again from the same institution, in 2012. She is the author or coauthor of five books and more than 100 scientific articles published in journals or proceedings of national and international conferences on the following research areas: numerical modeling and optimal design, electromagnetic compatibility, high-frequency circuit design, antenna study, wireless systems analysis, programming and simulation environments, databases, electromagnetic field analysis, and planar filter analysis.
Prof. Dr. Claudia Pacurar is a Professor in the Department of Electrotechnics and Measurements within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Since 2023, she has also been the Director of the Alumni Department, Pro-Rectorate University Management, and the Relationship with the Socio-Economic Environment at the same institution. She received an MSc in electrical engineering in 2004, a PhD in electrical engineering in 2012, and a PhD Habilitation in electrical engineering in 2022, all from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. Her scientific work is related to microcircuits, the numerical modeling of electromagnetic fields, the optimal design of electric devices, electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic compatibility, planar spiral inductors, electric and electronic circuits, antennas, filters, wireless power transfer systems, programming, and simulating mediums. Her research fields focus on numerical modeling, electromagnetic fields, electromagnetic compatibility, optimal design, and nano–micro electric and electronic circuits.
Prof. Dr. Adina Giurgiuman is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She earned her PhD at the same institution in 2010. Her research fields focus on electromagnetic compatibility, electrical circuits, numerical modeling, electromagnetic fields, filters, wireless systems, and antennas.
Prof. Dr. Calin Munteanu is a Professor at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He received an MSc in electrical engineering in 1989 and a PhD in electrical engineering in 1999, both from the same institution. His scientific work is related to electromagnetic fields, numerical computation and measurements, optimal design techniques, and electromagnetic compatibility in power devices.
Lect. Dr. Eng. Sergiu Andreica is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrotechnics and Measurements within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He received an MSc in electrical engineering in 2018 and a PhD in electrical engineering with a research focus on microstrip filter design for wireless communications in 2023, both from the same university. Since the beginning of his career in 2017, he has published over 40 scientific papers in specialized journals. His research interests include electromagnetic compatibility, microcircuits, the numerical modeling of electromagnetic fields, the optimized design of electrical devices, electromagnetism, planar spiral inductors, electrical and electronic circuits, antennas, microstrip filters, wireless power transfer systems, programming and simulation environments, and product certification.
