Author Biographies

Zhonghua Hong received a Ph.D. in GIS from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2014. Currently, he has been a Professor at the College of Information Technology, Shanghai Ocean University since 2022. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Purdue University (2017–2018). He is also a member of the Seismological Society of China and the International Society for Digital Earth. His research interests include satellite/aerial photogrammetry, high-speed videogrammetry, planetary mapping, 3D emergency mapping, GNSS-R, deep learning, and processing of geospatial big data.

Haiyan Pan received a Ph.D. in Surveying and Mapping from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, in 2020. Currently, she is a Lecturer and Deputy Director at the Department of Spatial Information and Digital Technology, College of Information Technology, Shanghai Ocean University. Her research interests include environmental remote sensing, multi-temporal remote sensing dynamic monitoring, multi-source spatiotemporal data intelligent processing, and deep learning.

Yun Zhang received a Ph.D. and an M.S. in applied marine environmental studies from Tokyo University of Maritime Science and Technology, Tokyo, Japan. Before his current role, he worked at the Geosurf Corporation from 2004 to 2011. Since 2011, he has been a Professor at the College of Information and Technology, Shanghai Ocean University, Shanghai, China. He is also a member of the Youth Work Committee of the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association, Member of the Satellite Payload Expert Committee of the Shanghai Institute of Space Electronics, and Member of the High Utilization Research Committee of Japan's Positioning Geospatial Intelligence. His research interests include the study of navigation system reflection signal technique and its maritime application.
Yanling Han received her Ph.D. in Mechatronic Engineering and Automation from Shanghai University, China, in 2005. She finished her work experience as a postdoctor in the College of Information Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing from 2005 to 2007. She joined the College of Information Technology of Shanghai Ocean University in the fall of 2007, where she is currently an Associate Professor. Her research interests include hyperspectral remote sensing image analysis, pattern recognition, and intelligent information processing.
