Dr. Agnieszka Kulawik-Pióro is an assistant professor in the Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Cracow University of Technology, Kraków, Poland. She received a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Cracow University of Technology in 2012. Dr. Agnieszka Kulawik-Pióro’s research topics mainly focus on topical skin formulations, emulsions, polymeric gels, skin protection agents, prevention of occupational skin diseases, physicochemical properties, textural profiles, mechanical properties, rheological properties, sensory properties, and the safety of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
Prof. Małgorzata Miastkowska is a research and teaching assistant professor in the Department of Organic Chemistry and Technology, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Cracow University of Technology, Kraków, Poland. She obtained a PhD in Chemical Technology from Cracow University of Technology in 2014. Prof. Małgorzata Miastkowska’s scientific research centers on the development of recipes for modern forms of formulations (e.g., colloidal nanocarriers, liquid crystal systems, emulsions, hydrogels, emulsions, biogels, nanocarrier–hydrogel matrix hybrids), supporting the treatment of skin inflammations and skin wounds.
