He also serves as vice-chair of the ICA-Edu network's international executive committee. Coordinates master programs in Food-Human Nutrition and Sustainability in Agriculture. With over 25 years of experience in teaching, research, and management in life sciences, he has been an invited professor in Erasmus+ programs at various international universities and summer schools. His work is recognized in prestigious biographical dictionaries for his significant societal contributions. His major interests include life sciences, food engineering, and quality education.

She is the author of several scientific papers and books in the field of food security and food quality management and is active in several national and international projects as an expert in quality management and food security. Also, she is an Erasmus invited professor at universities from Asia, Africa, and Europe, reviewer for several international journals from Europe, Africa, and Asia and evaluator-rapporteur for the Executive Agency for the Financing of Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI), invited professor at Tbilisi Teaching University - Tbilisi, Georgia and at Uele University - Isiro, DR Congo. She is Doctor Honoris Causa of Tbilisi Teaching University - Tbilisi, Georgia.

Research Center for Sustainable Rural Development of Romania. In 1998, she obtained a PhD in Agriculture and Horticulture, specializing in Management and Marketing in Agriculture. As a PhD supervisor, she prepared 27 PhD theses with PhD students. She is a university professor and researcher with long experience in the field of agriculture and rural development, with expertise in rural economy, sustainable rural development, rural entrepreneurship development, agriculture, management, and marketing in agriculture. She has published 20 books in recognized publishing houses as sole author or co-author and over 330 scientific articles in various volumes and journals in Romania and other countries. Her work has been recognized through awards and honors from prestigious institutions, including the Romanian Academy.
