Juan Pablo Gutiérrez-Jara obtained his Master of Science in Mathematics from University of Talca, Chile. He is currently a Professor of Mathematics at the Catholic University of Maule, where he received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematical Modeling. He is also a member of the Maule Research Centre for Advanced Studies (CIEAM) Team. His main research includes mathematical modeling in epidemiology, public health, vector-borne diseases, One Health, ecoepidemiology, and agronomy.
