Prof. Shuai Lu is a Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Chongqing University. He earned his B.S.E.E. from Chongqing University in 1997, an M.S.E.E. from the University of Wisconsin in 2003, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri–Rolla in 2007. In 2007, he joined MTS Systems Corporation, where he served as the Lead Power Electronics and Motor Drive Engineer, contributing to the successful development of the world’s first-generation hybrid electric system for Formula 1 cars in the 2009 race season. His research interests include applications in hybrid and electric vehicles and renewable energy power generation systems.
