Dr. Wen Wang is a Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE, IAAM Fellow, Humboldt Scholar of Germany, Executive Director of the Chinese Acoustics Society, and Director of the Chinese Micro-Nano Technology Society. He received his BSc (1999) and MSc (2002) from Central South University and his PhD from the Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2005). From July 2005 to July 2016, he conducted postdoctoral research at Ajou University in South Korea. He has won the German Humboldt Research Award, the IAAM Scientist Medal, the China Acoustics Wei Rongjue Award, and the China Electronics Association Technology Leader Award. His research areas include micro-acoustic devices and systems, surface acoustic wave signal processing and sensors, piezoelectric devices, and MEMS.
