Dr. Gang Li is an Assistant Professor at Mississippi State University,
specializing in mechanical engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from the University
of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 2017, with a visiting Ph.D. program
at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Before joining MSU, he
served as an Assistant Research Professor at UMBC and held research positions
as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Assistant Professor. Dr. Li is
dedicated to both teaching and research, fostering a dynamic learning
environment while advancing knowledge in his field through innovative
curriculum design and academic inquiry. His research interests include the fields of renewable energy technologies, applied artificial intelligence, dynamics and vibration, control theory, condition monitoring algorithms, structural health monitoring, and life cycle assessment, and involve AI for engineering, numerical simulation, experimental validation, and industrial application.
