Prof. Hao Wang is a Professor and Graduate Program Director at Rutgers University. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from the Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2001, his MS in Transportation Engineering and Civil Engineering from the Southeast University and Virginia Tech in 2004 and 2006, and his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. He is a fellow of Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI) of ASCE and the recipient of ASCE Huber Award in 2022. His general research is in the field of sustainable, smart, and resilient built environment, focusing on sustainable, resilient, and smart pavement and transportation infrastructure using innovative materials, computational modeling, and data analytics.
