Dr. Tajamal Hussain is a Research Fellow at the OSU College of Agricultural Sciences, Oregon State University. He completed his BSc studies in Agronomy and Crop modeling at the PMAS–Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan in 2015, MSc studies in Plant Science and Crop Modeling at the Faculty of Natural Resources, Prince of Songkla University, Songkhla, Thailand in 2017, and PhD studies in Plant Science, Agronomy at the Faculty of Natural Resources, Prince of Songkla University, Songkhla, Thailand in 2022, and has been awarded CLIFF GRADS Award 2020 for research collaboration with Soil and Water Conservation Research Unit, USA at United States Department of Agriculture–USDA–USA in 2020. His research interests include agronomy, soil science, precision agriculture, and agroecosystem modeling.
Prof. Dr. Azlan Zahid is an Assistant Professor of Controlled-Environment
Agriculture Engineering at Texas A&M AgriLife Research. He completed
his BSc studies in Agricultural Engineering at the University of
Agriculture Faisalabad (Faisalabad, Pakistan), in 2013, MSc studies in
Agricultural Engineering at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad
(Faisalabad, Pakistan), in 2015, and PhD studies in Agricultural and
Biological Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University (USA), in
2021, and has been awarded Rain Bird Engineering Concept of the Year
Award conferred from American Society of Agricultural and Biological
Engineers-(Saint Joseph, MI, USA), in 2022. His areas of interest
include agriculture, agronomy, climate change, plant breeding, and water
management.
