Md Abdur Rahim received his PhD in Medicine (majoring in Microbiology) from Soonchunghyang University, Republic of Korea, in 2024. He also received his MSc degree in Medicine (majoring in Microbiology) from the same university in 2021. He also earned his MSc in Microbiology and BSc in Microbiology from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, in 2016 and 2015, respectively. He worked in top pharmaceutical industries in Bangladesh between 2017 and 2018 as a microbiologist in the QC department. Currently, he is working as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Human Microbiome Medical Research Center, Soonchunhyang University, Republic of Korea. His research topics mainly include microbiome therapeutics, autophagy, tuberculosis, clinical trials, next-generation sequencing, cancer–microbiome interactions, and germ-free in vivo experiments.
