Dr. Jianhua Wang is a Researcher at the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He is also a Member of the American Society of Phytopathologists and a Part-Time Postgraduate Tutor (Biology) at Shanghai Ocean University. From September 2000 to July 2010, he obtained his BS, MSc, and PhD from Huazhong Agricultural University. From July 2010 to September 2012, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Crop Science Postdoctoral Research Station of Huazhong Agricultural University. From October 2013 to December 2013, he studied at Ghent University and Leuven University in Belgium. From November 2014 to May 2017, he was a visiting scholar at the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology, Purdue University, USA. He has been engaged in research on Gibberella and its fungal toxins, mainly conducting isolation, identification, and functional genomics research on pathogenic fungi related to grain and food safety.
