Rev. Dr. Roman Fihas Director of the Institute of Ecumenical Studies / Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv, Ukraine) Teacher of Theology and Ecumenism in the Theological Faculty of the Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv, Ukraine) He received his theological education at the Lviv Spiritual Seminary, S.T.L., at the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome, Italy), and was awarded his Ph.D. by the Faculty of Eastern Ecclesiastical Sciences of the Pontifical Oriental Institute (Rome, Italy). He is a priest in the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. His academic interests involve ecumenism, dogmatic and liturgical theology and church history.
