Prof. Dr. Heng Zhang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Tunnel and Underground Engineering, College of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, China. He obtained a B.S. at Xi’an University of Technology in Civil Engineering (2003), an M.A. at Southwest Jiaotong University in Bridge and Tunnel Engineering (2007), and a PhD at Southwest Jiaotong University in Civil Engineering (2009). Prof. Dr. Heng Zhang was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the College of Engineering, The
University of Warwick, Britain (2016–2018). Prof. Dr. Heng Zhang won the Second Prize in Science and Technology Progress Award of the Architectural Society of China, the Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Third Prize, the China Railway Corporation Science and Technology Progress Award, and the first prize in scientific and technological progress of China Railway Second Bureau Group Co., Ltd.
