Prof. Jarosław Brodny is a professor at the Silesian University of Technology at the Silesian University of Technology, Poland. His research focuses on digitalization, sustainable development, energy, environmental, and machine efficiency. He has widely published peer-reviewed international journals, such as Applied Energy, the Journal of Cleaner Production, the Journal of Environmental Management, and Science of the Total Environment. His Hirsch index is 36. He has published >250 articles in journals, books, and specialized conferences.

Wieslaw Wes Grebski is Professor Emeritus at The Pennsylvania State University. He served as the system-wide coordinator of the 2MET program at the College of Engineering, as well as coordinator of the 2MET program at Hazleton. He was also the coordinator of the general engineering program at Penn State Hazleton. He earned his bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in mechanical engineering from Stanislaw Staszic University of Mining and Metallurgy, Krakow, Poland. He won the Milton S. Eisenhower Award for Distinguished Teaching, one of Penn State’s highest honors. His research focus is sustainable energy and power generation. He has co-authored over 150 publications and five books. He has also taught the dual enrollment class, Introduction to Engineering Design.
