Matias Ariel Kippke Salomón (Student Member, IEEE) received a M.Sc. degree in sustainable transportation and electrical power systems (STEPS) from the University of Oviedo, Gijón, Spain, in 2019. He is currently pursuing his PhD in energy and control process with his thesis on "IoT-Based Advanced Metering Infrastructure for Real-Time Control and Management of Flexible Devices Connected to the Low-Voltage Distribution Network".
He is also working as a pre-doctoral researcher at the Laboratory for Electrical Energy Management Unified Research (LEMUR), under the coordination of the Department of Electrical, Electronics, Communications and Systems Engineering (DIEECS) from the University of Oviedo, Spain.
His research interests mainly include distributed energy resources management and coordination in the low-voltage distribution network, internet of energy, communication protocols applied for advanced metering infrastructures, smart grids, smart cities, and electric mobility charging infrastructures.
