Dr. Latesh Chaudhari is a distinguished academician and researcher in Chemical Engineering. He holds an M.Tech. (Gold Medallist) and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Currently, he serves as the Principal of the R.N.G. Patel Institute of Technology (RNGPIT). Dr. Chaudhari plays a significant role in academic and research development at Gujarat Technological University (GTU), serving as a Member of the Doctoral Research Committee and Chairperson of the Board of Studies for Vocational Courses. He is also a Member of the Board of Studies for Chemical Engineering at GTU. Beyond academia, he is actively involved in industry collaborations and skill development. He is a Member of the Advisory Board at the Academy for Skill Development, AM/NS Pvt. Ltd., Hazira, and serves as Vice-Chairman of the Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Surat Chapter. He is also a Director at the Science Engineering Technological Upliftment (SETU) Foundation, Surat, and a Managing Committee Member of the Institution of Engineers (India), South Gujarat Local Center. Additionally, Dr. Chaudhari holds a position as a Board Director of QCFI, contributing significantly to quality management and skill development initiatives. His expertise and leadership continue to make a significant impact on engineering education and professional development.
Dr. Naresh R. Vaghela is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of Chemical Engineering, currently serving as an Associate Professor. With a strong academic background and extensive research experience, he has significantly contributed to his field. Dr. Vaghela holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, earned in 2021. He completed his Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Chemical Engineering in 2011 at L.D. College of Engineering and his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Chemical Engineering at M.S. University, Baroda, in 2002. Dr. Vaghela has been involved in several notable research projects throughout his career. These projects demonstrate his commitment to advancing knowledge and solving real-world problems in chemical engineering. Pyrolysis of Sugar-Cane By-Products: As part of a Student SCI-TECH Project (2009–2011), Dr. Vaghela supervised a project focused on the pyrolysis of sugar-cane by-products. This study explored sustainable methods of utilizing agricultural residues and received funding of ₹20,000. Preservation of Odor and Flavor in Fruit Juices: Dr. Vaghela co-investigated a minor research project funded by GUJCOST in 2015–2016. It focused on the action of natural and synthetic stabilizing agents in preventing degrading reactions in fruit juices. The project aimed to conserve nutrients, odor, and flavor, receiving funding of ₹1,25,000 under Letter No. GUJCOST/MRP/2015-16/2713.
