Member of the Chair of Critical Hermeneutics of the UNED (2017), member of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies of Latin America (2013), member of the Society for the History of the Children and Youth (2012), the Spanish Society for the History of Education (2005), the Spanish Society for Comparative Education (2016) and, researcher of the teams of critical pedagogies (PEDACRI) and, History of Education, Educational Policies, Gender and Cultural Studies, (NEXUX). In 2023 he received the mention Prison Achievement Award for his work on the implementation of an autobiographical penitentiary pedagogy in prisons.
