Author Biographies

Dr. Theofanis Zacharatos holds an MBA in food business management (University of Patras, Gr) and an M.Sc. in finance from the Hellenic Open University (Gr). He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Patras (Gr), focusing on consumer behaviour, food waste, and sustainable development. In 2019, he received an EIT Climate-KIC grant. He is a postdoctoral researcher at Hellenic Open University (Gr) and an affiliated researcher of the ATHENA Research Center and of the Alliance of Excellence for Research and Innovation on Aephoria (AE4RIA). A member of the Greek Marketing Academy, Dr. Zacharatos has participated in international conferences and published articles in scientific journals.
Prokopis Theodoridis is a Professor of Marketing at the Hellenic Open University's School of Social Sciences. He holds an M.Sc. in Marketing from the University of Stirling (UK) and a Ph.D. from Athens University of Economics and Business (Gr). His primary research interests encompass consumer behaviour, marketing and sustainability, food waste, and marketing communications. His research has been published in international journals and presented at numerous conferences. He has served as Track Chair, Session Chair, and Reviewer for various international conferences. He is the General Secretary of the Greek Marketing Academy and a member of the European Marketing Academy.
