Prof. Dr. Yao-Rong Zheng obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2006 and his doctoral degree from the Department of Chemistry, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT, in 2011. He then conducted postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Kent State University. His research focuses on designing and developing innovative metal-based chemical systems for applications in biological systems.
