Assistant Professor Liang Zheng is a Faculty Member at the Faculty of Humanities and Arts, Macau University of Science and Technology. He completed his Ph.D. in Sustainable Architectural Design at Macau University of Science and Technology. He recently participated in projects on intelligent architectural heritage protection and urban accessibility optimization. Dr. Zheng has published over 30 papers in renowned journals and serves as a guest editor and peer reviewer for multiple scientific journals. His teaching disciplines include architectural design and sustainable architecture, with research interests in AI-driven architectural design and urban sustainability.
Junming Chen is an Assistant Professor at Macau University of Science and Technology. He engages in interdisciplinary research and specializes in machine learning, deep learning, digital fabrication, architectural design, and generative design. He has a Ph.D. in Digital Media, a Master's Degree in Design, a Master's Degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. His research field is the application of parametric and artificial intelligence in design, and he is committed to the intelligence of design. His designs have won over ten internationally renowned awards, including the A Design Award. He is also a data analyst certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China and has obtained a national invention patent. He has also published 13 A&HCI, SSCI, and SCI papers, of which he is the first author of seven papers. He serves as a reviewer for 16 SCI and SSCI journals.
Dr. Yile Chen has been working at the Department of Architecture at Macau University of Science and Technology since February 2025 as an Assistant Professor and Master's Supervisor. She earned a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Design from the Faculty of Innovation and Design, City University of Macau, in 2020, and a Ph.D. in Architecture from the Faculty of Humanities and Arts, Macau University of Science and Technology, in 2024. She has published over 40 papers in prestigious SCIE, SSCI, and A&HCI journals. Dr. Yile Chen's primary research interests include artificial intelligence technology, the scientific analysis of healthy human settlements, and the application of spatial information technology in cultural heritage protection. She focuses on cutting-edge research in architectural technology for high-density urban forms and healthy environments and the preservation and renewal of urban and architectural cultural heritage in Macau and Portuguese-speaking regions. Additionally, Dr. Yile Chen is a member of the PLOS ONE Editorial Board and serves as a peer reviewer for numerous SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI, and ESCI journals.
