Prof. Xiaoyan Liu is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the College of Civil Engineering and Transportation at Hohai University. She received her PhD degree in Materials Science from Tongji University and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University, USA. Her research mainly focuses on new materials for hydraulic and marine engineering, intelligent concrete, solid waste synergistic utilization and carbon fixation and reduction technology, ecological permeable concrete, sponge city construction and engineering health monitoring, hydraulic structure inspection and evaluation and safety appraisal.
Prof. Kai Lyu is an Associate Researcher of the College of Civil Engineering and Transportation at Hohait University. He received his PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Southeast University and was a Postdoctoral fellow at the School of Civil Engineering and Transportation, Hohai University. His research mainly focuses on quantitative characterization and control technology of microstructure of cement-based materials, nano-particle modified high-performance civil engineering materials, synergistic utilization technology of multi-source urban solid waste, and preparation and application of self-compacting cement soil.
