Theodore Tsekeris is a Senior Research Fellow (Professor rank) in Transportation Economics and Spatial Development at the Centre of Planning and Economic Research (KEPE) and the Head Coordinator of the National Productivity Board of Greece. Theodore Tsekeris is teaching the Transportation Systems Management module in the MSc course in Supply Chain Management at the Hellenic Open University (EAP) and has taught in several universities, including the Panteion University, the University of Thessaly, and the University of the Aegean. Theodore Tsekeris has held academic positions as a visiting scholar at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland, and the Institute of Transportation Studies, University of California at Berkeley, and as an Extraordinary Professor in the School of Public Leadership, Stellenbosch University, Cape Town, South Africa. Theodore Tsekeris’s educational background encompass studies in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, and Economics at the City Level, University of London, University College London and Imperial College, University of London, and the National Technical University of Athens. Theodore Tsekeris has written several books and articles in high impact international journals and has participated in and coordinated research projects in the fields of transport, logistics, shipping, tourism, energy, network analysis, urban and regional development, and productivity and efficiency analysis.
