Zheng Zhang is the Professor and Director of the Innovation and
Entrepreneurship Center at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Hubei
University of Technology. He earned his Ph.D. in mechanical electronics from
Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Prof. Zhang specializes in
intelligent equipment design, smart control, mechatronics, robotics, and
intelligent fault diagnosis. He has led over 50 research projects, including a
National Natural Science Foundation project, with total funding exceeding RMB 8
million. His research has resulted in over 70 publications, including 20
indexed by SCI and EI, and he holds more than 40 patents. Prof. Zhang has
contributed to over 10 academic books and has received three provincial-level
Science and Technology Progress Second Prizes. He has served as the Head of the
Mechanical Automation Department at Hubei University of Technology and as a
Senior Visiting Scholar at the University of Houston. Prof. Zhang is currently
supervising nine graduate students and has made significant contributions to
the development of intelligent equipment and robotics technologies.
