Dr. Godawatte Arachchige Gimhan Rathnagee Godawatte is an Assistant Professor at the School of Energy, Geoscience, Infrastructure and Society, Heriot-Watt University. His research focuses on the broad areas of systems thinking and system dynamics for complex problems, infrastructure megaprojects, and net-zero in the built environment. His recent research has focused on exploring the challenges of net-zero policies for project professionals working on megaprojects and construction SMEs.

Dr Prince Antwi-Afari is a Lecturer in Construction Management at the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the University of Adelaide. He is an astute researcher and academic with nonpareil research and professional experience in construction engineering and management. He has published several peer-reviewed papers in internationally reputable journals and has collaborated with several academic and industry professionals across Hong Kong, China, Australia, the UK, Canada, Ghana, the USA, Nigeria, the UAE, and other parts of the world. His research interest combines the rudiments of the construction industry with innovation, management, and sustainable development to explore pertinent issues in construction and demolition waste management, smart and sustainable infrastructure and cities, circular economy in construction, building life cycle assessment, smart/digital construction and building services among others.
Prof. Dr. Zhikang Bao is an Assistant Professor at the Heriot Watt University. He holds a BEng degree in Civil Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Liverpool and a PhD in Construction Project Management from The University of Hong Kong. He is also the Associate Fellow of Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), UK. Before joining Heriot-Watt University as an Assistant Professor, Zhikang served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at City University of Hong Kong. His primary research interests focus on the circular built environment and construction waste management. In 2024, he was listed among the World’s Top 2% High-cited Researchers according to the list compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier BV. He is also the recipient of the Most Cited Paper Award from the Editorial Board of Architectural Engineering and Design Management.
