Prof. Dr. Haobin Jiang is a Dean of Automotive Engineering Research Institute, Jiangsu University. He received his B.S. degree in Agriculture Machinery from the Nanjing Agricultural University in 1991 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Vehicle Engineering from Jiangsu University in 1994 and 2000, respectively. From 1994 to 1995, he was a Research Assistant of the Laboratory of Power and Energy, Faculty of Biological Resources, Mie University, Japan. He joined Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang, China, in 1994, where he is currently a professor of vehicle engineering. He is a Steering Technology Committee Member of the Society of Automotive Engineering of China; the Steering Technology Committee Member of the National Technical Committee of Auto Standardization, China; and the deputy secretary-general of the Society of Automotive Engineering of Jiangsu. His research interests include vehicle dynamics and electrical control technology, intelligent vehicle technologies, and intelligent transportation system.
