Dr. Sojib Zaman is currently employed as an Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at James Madison University, Virginia, United States. His responsibilities include teaching chronic and infectious diseases, statistical methods, and research methods courses. Over the past ten years, he has managed, monitored, and evaluated health projects and research studies in developed and developing countries. His research focuses on using community health workers, strengthening health systems, and promoting m-health technology in the prevention of infectious and chronic diseases. To date, Dr. Zaman has authored, co-authored, or edited over 125 peer-reviewed papers.
