Shihao Yan is a Senior
Lecturer of Computing and Security discipline in the School of Science at Edith
Cowan University. He earned his Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from the
University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, in 2015. He also
serves as a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers, IEEE. His main research areas and interests include Covert Wireless
Communication; Physical Layer Security; Intelligent Reflection Surface
(IRS)-Aided Wireless Communications; Covertness and Security in Unmanned Aerial
Vehicle (UAV) networks; Federated Machine Learning Aided Wireless Communication;
and Covertness and Security in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) networks.
Arash Mahboubi is a Senior
Lecturer in Computing at the School of Computing Mathematics and Engineering,
Charles Sturt University. He received his B.Sc. degree (First Class Honours.)
in computer security from Staffordshire University and his M.Sc. degree in
information security from the University of Technology Malaysia, Malaysia. He
also earned a Ph.D. in Information Security from Queensland University of
Technology (QUT) in 2018. Prior to joining Charles Sturt, he was a sessional
lecturer in information security and data science disciplines at QUT and the
University of the Sunshine Coast. His research interests include Wireless
Networks, IoT, and mobile devices security and hacking, pervasive security,
malware detection and prevention and malicious cryptography.
