Chang-Gu Hyun graduated from Myong-Ji University and received his Ph.D.
in Biological Chemistry in 2000. After graduating, he worked as a
Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin and
Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2001, under
the supervision of Prof. Jon S. Thorson. From 2006 to 2012, he served
as a Team Leader at the Bio-Convergence Center (Jeju Technopark). In
2012, he joined Jeju National University and is currently a Professor in
the Department of Chemistry and Cosmetics. Since
2019, he has been the Director of the Cosmetic Science Center at Jeju
National University.
