Halliru Ibrahim is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the research group of Dr. Pinkie Ntola at the Durban University of Technology. After his Ph.D. graduation in 2015, Dr. Ibrahim worked with the research groups of Prof Holger B. Friedrich and Prof Muhammad D. Bala, both in the School of Chemistry and Physics, University of KwaZulu Natal. In between the postdoctoral fellowships, Dr. Ibrahim has been an academic (Chief Lecturer) at the Federal College of Education (Technical) Gusau. He has been involved in the supervisory teams for both postgraduate and undergraduate students and has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers in ISI journals. Dr. Ibrahim’s primary research focuses on green chemistry applications in catalysis and synthesis. He is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the American Chemical Society, and the South African Chemical Institute.
