Dr. Corby G. Anderson is a Licensed Professional Chemical Engineer with over 45 years of extensive international experience in industrial operations, corporate level management, design, piloting, plant commissioning, economics, finance, consulting, due diligence, legal matters, teaching, research, development and professional service. He shares 16 international patents with 5 current patent applications. He is also a Visiting Professor of Mineral Engineering at Central South University in China. He served in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department as the Harrison Western Professor from 2009 to 2019. He joined the Mining Department in 2019. Dr. Anderson teaches and conducts research as a member of the Kroll Institute for Extractive Metallurgy. He is an expert in the fields of extractive metallurgy, mineral processing, waste minimization and recycling. He has an extensive background in industrially oriented research and was responsible for the development and success of the Center for Advanced Mineral and Metallurgical Processing at Montana Tech.
