Joshua Ramey is Visiting Assistant Professor of Peace, Justice, and Human Rights at Haverford College (USA). He is the author of The Hermetic Deleuze: Philosophy and Spiritual Ordeal (Duke University Press, 2012) and Politics of Divination: Neoliberal Endgame and the Religion of Contingency (Rowman and Littlefield, 2016), as well as numerous articles in aesthetics, political economy, and political theology. Forthcoming work includes the publication of a lecture course given to the general public during the COVID-19 crisis, For the Remains: Undoing Economic Sovereignty, and a new project on aesthetics and politics, The Universal Verge.
