Author Biographies

Amal Kabalan is the T. Jefferson Miers Chair in Electrical Engineering and associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at Bucknell University. She received her B.S. from the American University of Science and Technology in 2006, earned her M.S. and Ph.D. from Villanova University in 2008 and 2013, respectively, and was a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard University in 2014. Her main research interests include biosensors, optoelectronics, and the development of humanitarian technology. Her research focuses on integrating nanotechnology structures in electronic devices.
