Marta Rinaldi is an Associate Professor and researcher in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Salerno. She teaches and conducts research in the field of supply chain modelling and simulation, sustainable design and management of production systems, integration of ergonomics and human factor principles in decisional models for industrial contexts, and human–robot interaction. She has published more than 60 scientific papers in International ISI journals or in the proceedings of international conferences. She is Associate Editor of the Healthcare Analytics and Supply Chain Analytics journals.
Mario Caterino, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. After graduating cum laude in Mechanical Engineering, he received his PhD in Industrial and Information Engineering from the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in 2021. He is currently a lecturer on several courses for undergraduate and post-graduate students at the Department of Engineering of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. He is author of more than 45 international publications in Operations Management and Industrial Systems Engineering. He is a member of the editorial board of The International Journal on Interactive Design and Manufacturing.
Stefano Riemma is a Full Professor in Industrial Systems Engineering at the University of Salerno. His research interests include Operations Management, Production Planning and Control, Resource Planning and Scheduling, Logistics in Production and Services, Healthcare Management, Simulation and Digital Twins, and Life Cycle Assessment.
Roberto Macchiaroli, PhD, is a Full Professor of Industrial Systems Engineering at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Italy. He started his career as an Electronic Engineer, with research activities in robotics, control system engineering, and industrial automation. He is currently a lecturer for undergraduate and post-graduate students at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli for the courses of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing/Management Engineering. He was the Dean of the Industrial Engineering Courses and Director of the Master in Safety Engineering and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. He is the author of more than 70 international publications in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Industrial Systems Engineering, and Industrial Sustainability.
Marcello Fera graduated magna cum laude in Management Engineering in 2004 from Naples University "Federico II" and obtained a PhD in Mechanical Systems Engineering in 2008 at the same university. He has been an Associate Professor of Industrial Mechanical Systems Engineering from 2021 for the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. He is author of more than
85 international papers. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Industrial Engineering Computations, Cogent Engineering, and an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Interactive Design and Manufacturing. His main current research interest is in the sustainability of industrial systems and their supply chains, with particular attention to circular production tactics.
