Author Biographies

Hongyan Wang received the B.S. degree in Medical Information Engineering from Hebei North University in 2022. She is currently pursuing the M.S. degree at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. Her research focuses on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) information analysis and the application of deep learning in medical data. She can be reached at whyan@zcmu.edu.cn.
Yuehui Liao received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Software Engineering from Gannan Normal University and Hangzhou Dianzi University in 2020 and 2023, respectively. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. His research interests include medical information analysis and deep learning applications in sensors. Li Gao began her undergraduate studies at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in 2017 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the same institution. Her research interests lie at the intersection of nephrology and machine learning, focusing on utilizing data-driven techniques to improve kidney disease diagnosis and treatment. Panfei Li obtained his Master of Medicine degree from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in 2019 and his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Science from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2022, with postdoctoral research experience at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. He currently serves as an assistant researcher at Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. His research primarily focuses on artificial intelligence in traditional Chinese medicine. Junwei Huang obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Electronic Information Science and Technology from Beijing Union University, where he studied from September 2012 to June 2016. He then pursued his Master's Degree in Chinese Medicine, specializing in the Medical History and Literature of Chinese Medicine, at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from September 2016 to June 2019. Continuing his education, Huang earned his PhD in Chinese Medicine, specializing in the Basic Theories of Chinese Medicine, at the same institution from September 2019 to August 2023. Currently, he serves as a Lecturer with the title of Specialized Teacher at the School of Medical Technology and Information Engineering, Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, starting from October 2023. Peng Xu received his Bachelor of Medicine degree from Wenzhou Medical College and his Master of Medicine degree from Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University in 2008 and 2016, respectively. He is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University. His research focuses on basic and clinical studies in immune diseases. Bin Fu received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in software engineering from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University and Hangzhou Dianzi University in 2005 and 2011, respectively. He worked at the Institute of Digital Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, with a research focus on digital Chinese medicine and the informatization of Chinese medicine. Qin Zhu received her Master's degree in Chinese Medicine from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in 2011 and her Ph.D. in the same field from the same university in 2021. Xiaobo Lai is currently a professor at the School of Medical Technology and Information Engineering, Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechatronics Engineering from Zhejiang University. His main research focus is artificial intelligence in medical sensing, with a commitment to addressing many of the bottlenecks in this field. He conducts research on issues encountered in clinical diagnosis and treatment and applies the research outcomes to clinical practice. His goal is to strengthen interdisciplinary integration and build a bridge for the two-way translation of basic research and clinical applications, enabling research results to serve and be applied to clinical practice more quickly and effectively.
