Xunzhang Pan is an Associate Professor at the School of Ecology and Environment, Renmin University of China. Prior to this, he served as an Associate Professor at the School of Economics and Management, China University of Petroleum-Beijing from 2018 to 2023. He earned his Bachelor’s and Ph.D. both at Tsinghua University, in 2010 and 2015, respectively, and completed his joint Ph.D. training at the Department of Environmental Systems Analysis, Wageningen University. He was awarded the first prize for Excellent Achievements in Soft Science Research in Energy Sector in 2016 and the first prize for Outstanding Achievements in Soft Science Research by the China National Petroleum Corporation in 2022. His main research areas include Energy–Environment–Economic Systems Analysis, Carbon Neutrality and Policy Responses to Climate Change.
